Advocate & Managing Partner.. Mr. Okua is our Managing Partner and holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from Makerere University as well as a Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Center, Kampala. Mike is an enrolled Advocate of the Courts of Judicature and has practiced law as a member of the Uganda Bar for over sixteen years. In July 2016, Mike received Certification from the Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. in structuring and implementation of Public Private Partnerships. He has a keen interest in, and practices Commercial Law & Litigation, Arbitration in the Building Engineering and Construction industry, Employment Law, Insurance Law, Intellectual Property law and general litigation. He also handles commercial advisory work including security documentation, perfection and realization, insurance and intellectual property.. For two consecutive 3-year terms beginning in September 2011 until October 2017, Mr. Okua successfully served as Director Legal Affairs, Kampala Capital City Authority - a statutory corporation responsible for administering Kampala Capital City for and on behalf of the Government of Uganda. He was, until recently, a Member of the Governing Councils of both the East Africa Law Society and the Uganda Law Society; as well as a Tutor and Examiner (External) at the Law Development Centre, Kampala and Uganda Christian University, Mukono He brings to the Firm a wealth of experience in Administration, Management and best practices in Legal Advocacy.

Advocate... Mr. Okello holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from Makerere University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre and is an enrolled Advocate of the Courts of Judicature and subordinate Courts thereto. He holds a degree in Mass Communication from Makerere University, a Masters degree in International Development Studies from St. Mary's University, Halifax, Canada, and studied several short courses in communication and media, editing, public relations, basic elections administration training (BEAT); and film censorship and classification. Mr. Okello has worked with and consulted for various international organizations including USAID, UNDP, European Parliamentarians for Africa (AWEPA); Wellspring Advisors among others. He has also consulted widely for government ministries and institutions. His areas of specialty include Media and Entertainment Law, Land conveyance and real estate management, Intellectual Property and Insurance Law, banking and commercial law. He brings to the firm a wealth of experience in media consultancy, customer/client care and public relations. He is an adherent member of the rotary club of Makindye where he has had the opportunity to serve and give back to his community.

Advocate & Commissioner for Oaths ...... Ms. Namusoke holds a Degree in Law from Makerere University, Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice of Law Development Centre and is enrolled as an Advocate of the Courts of Judicature and subordinate Courts thereto. Her areas of practice include conveyancing, advisory and litigation in land Law, Family Law & Practice, employment Law, commercial Law, Intellectual property and corporate compliance and regulatory issues. Ms. Namusoke also serves as a part-time advocate with the Public Interest Law Clinic attached to the School of Law, Makerere University.

Mr. Opio graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) Degree from Makerere University in Kampala. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Law Development Centre, Kampala and is an enrolled advocate of the Courts of Judicature and subordinate Courts thereto. He is also a holder of Law Certificate Oxbridge Future Leaders from University of Oxford and attended the Oak Seed Executive Leadership Course (OSELC) at the Institute for National Transformation (INT). He begun his legal career as a Research Assistant working with the Courts of Judicature of Uganda, His keen interests are in General litigation, Insurance Law and Intellectual Property Law, Sports Law, Immigration Law, Employment Law, Investment Law, Taxation Law & Practice, Commercial Transactions, Property Law and Real Estate management, conveyancing, corporate and commercial Arbitration, and Entity Creation. He is a keen golfer and supports the cricket community in Uganda.
